Sanatorium-dispensary "Youth"

From history

On June, 21st, 1974 the rector of ESIT D.S.Frolov issued the order №1311 about sanatorium-dispensary opening for 50 places. Head of Policlinic of ESIT Doctor Elaev Vladimir Georgievich took an active part in health resort creation. As Head Physician Ardonova Elza Gavrilovna (1974-1976) was appointed, and from August 1976 till February 1980 the sanatorium-dispensary was headed by Doctor Namsaraev Eshi Zhambalovich. From February 1980 till February 1996 - by Doctor Banzaraksheeva Nadezhda Dymbrylovna, 1996-1998 Head physician was Harzheev Alexander Ilyich, 1998-2008 Head physician was Rinchino Elvira Vladimirovna. In April, 2008 the order of the rector Soktoev V. E. appointed the post of head physician of sanatorium-dispensary "Youth" Bubaeva Erzhena Bajandaevna - deserved doctor of the Republic of Buryatia, doctor of higher category, doctor-therapist.

Administration of ESSUTM has given to the sanatorium-dispensary a premise in the hostel №4, to the address: Zherdev street 31.

Structure

In sanatorium-dispensary are available:

• Doctor-therapist;
• Masseur;
• Procedural office;
• Dining room for 60 places;
• Living rooms intended for residing of students for treatment.

Main objectives and problems

• Medical and improving, preventive and rehabilitation actions: survey, diagnostics, treatment of students of ESSUTM.
• Rehabilitation – a complex of medical actions directed to restoration of an organism after diseases, including, infectious and neurologic diseases, traumas (vitamin therapy, herbal medicine, etc.)
• Carrying out physical therapy (Ultrahigh-frequency therapy, BC-lamp therapy, Ultrasound, DDT, d’Arsonval therapy, Ultra-violet irradiation).
• Medical massage.
• Sou-dzhok diagnostics and Sou-dzhok therapy.
• Carrying out of sanitary and educational work among students (release of sanitary bulletins, carrying out of conversations, lectures).

Material resources

The dispensary has available housing for 25 places consisting of 2-, 4 -bedded rooms occupying the 2 floor.
On the 1 floor administrative and medical offices are located. The physiotherapeutic complex is equipped with equipment: Ultrahigh-frequency therapy, ultrasonic devices, devices for Ultra-violet irradiation treatment, for DDT therapies, for d’Arsonval therapy, for inhalations.
In dispensary the dining room for 60 seats functions, the kitchen is equipped with necessary equipment.

Productivity of dispensary work

• Improvement of collaboration of dispensary with the student's polyclinic (improvement of quality of filling of sanatorium cards, has increased quantity of students directed to treatment in sanatorium - dispensary, quantity of patients continuing their inspection has increased).
• In 2009 sou-dzhok diagnostocs and sou-dzhok therapy are introduced in a complex of medical and diagnostic actions.
• Health corners where materials in preventive maintenance of tuberculosis, beer alcoholism, hepatitis B, HIV-infection, venereal diseases, flu, diphtheria, materials about healthy way of life are placed.
• The modern convenient furniture is got for dispensary foyer.

In plans:

• The question of differentiated treatment by medical mineral waters for preventive maintenance of exchange infringements is considered.
• Opening of a balneary in the basement of dispensary for carrying out of water procedures (shower of Sharko, circular shower) is planned.
• Improvement of equipment of the rest room (acquisition of video equipment and video films), and also organization of leisure of the students having a rest in a dispensary (acquisition of chess, drafts, table tennis) is planned.
